Render Lens
A downloadable tool
Render Lens measures your running game's rendering performance from the Godot editor and tells you, or your AI assistant, what to fix.
- Embedded MCP server (http://127.0.0.1:43788) with 18 tools for Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients.
- Frame-time percentiles, GPU pass times (Forward+ and Mobile), script profiles, stutter, video memory and pipeline compilations, always measured in the game process.
- advise ranks 703 rules by what was measured; every rule cites Godot's docs or engine source.
- measure_change tries a suggestion in the running game only and reports the saving against the run's own noise.
Install: extract the ZIP and copy sample_project/addons/render_lens into your project's addons folder, then enable Render Lens in Project Settings > Plugins. Works with Godot 4.4 to 4.7.
